Display

Shared workspace where AI agents publish docs, prototypes and apps

Display is a personal productivity tool for Developers and Small businesses, offered as freemium ($12/mo). Based in Estonia. Popular alternatives include Xmind, XWiki, Obsidian.

About Display

Display is an AI docs workspace from Displaydev OÜ, a Tallinn, Estonia company founded by Carl Rannaberg and Ott Ilves and backed by Outlast Fund, FIRSTPICK, Curiosity VC and Henrik Bohman of Wise. People and AI agents publish HTML and Markdown files such as reports, specs, slides and prototypes, and each doc gets a stable URL, comments and access control.

Agents connect through an MCP server, a CLI or Claude's connector directory, and different people can use different agents on the same doc. Every publish creates a version, teammates comment on any line and edit in the browser, and spaces and folders organize docs by team or client. Free covers 1 editor and 3 gated docs, Solo adds version history and 5 GB, Team adds up to 150 editors and Shared Spaces, and Business adds audit logs and sharing controls. Viewers are unlimited on every plan.

It fits teams that already produce documents with coding agents and need a private place to share them. Notion and Confluence are richer editors and wikis, and Google Drive handles office files better, but none is built around agents publishing HTML. Display holds no SOC 2 report yet, SAML is Enterprise-only, and data connectors and internal apps are still in private beta.

On November 2, 2026 Display launched Display 1.0 on Product Hunt and finished #7 of the day; its first launch, publishing agent-made HTML behind company auth, placed #5 on May 12, 2026. Buying tip: Team's flat price covers up to 150 editors, so per-head cost drops fast, yearly billing saves 25%, and listed prices exclude VAT.

Our take

Display solves a real gap for agent-heavy teams: getting HTML output from Claude, Codex or Cursor into a shared, permissioned, versioned place. Start on Free or Solo, and move to Team once several people publish, since the flat price favours larger groups; wait for Enterprise if you need SAML or a SOC 2 report.
