Spacesheep
Workspace where AI agents publish versioned docs, dashboards and apps
Spacesheep is a personal productivity tool for Developers and Small businesses, offered as freemium ($5/mo). Based in United States, founded in 2026. Popular alternatives include sideOS, Context Engine, ShogunAI.
About Spacesheep
Spacesheep is a shared workspace where AI agents publish their output as private, versioned web pages called spaces, such as documents, dashboards, mockups and small apps, that a team can read, comment on and keep editing with AI. It is a Y Combinator Fall 2026 company based in San Francisco, founded in 2026 by Michael Makarov, who previously worked at Anthropic, Pinecone and Twitter.
Agents publish through a remote MCP server or the spacesheep CLI, and a Chrome extension uploads files. Teammates leave line-level comments, and mentioning @spacesheep in a comment has the AI revise that part. Every space keeps full version history, can sync to Google Drive or GitHub, and can carry live data or video Streams. A beta e-signature feature records a SHA-256 hash with Ed25519 sealing and issues PDF certificates. Plans are cheap and billed monthly: Free, Pro at $4.50, Max at $9 and Team at $10 per member.
It suits developers and small teams who already generate reports and prototypes with Claude Code, Cursor or ChatGPT and need a place to share them. Notion is a fuller wiki and database tool, Claude's artifacts live inside one chat app, and Gamma focuses on presentations. Spacesheep is new, run by a two-person team, does not name its legal entity on its site, and has no desktop or mobile apps.
Spacesheep launched on Product Hunt on October 27, 2026, its first launch there, and finished #4 of the day. Buying tip: the Free plan covers most solo use, so upgrade only when you hit deploy size or publish limits or need Streams.
