Floot
Build and host full-stack apps from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Floot is a no-code & low-code tool for Small businesses and Freelancers, offered as freemium ($25/mo). Based in United States, founded in 2025. Popular alternatives include Lovable, Bolt.new, AI Lead Gen Tool for Reddit, HN, Bluesky & X.
About Floot
Floot is an AI app platform from Floot, Inc., a San Francisco startup in Y Combinator's Summer 2025 batch, founded by former Retool staff engineer Yujian Yao. You connect Floot to the assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor, describe an app in chat, and Floot builds and hosts a real TypeScript and React app with a database, sign-in and hosting included.
Each project gets managed Postgres, email and password or Google and Microsoft sign-in, file storage, transactional email, push, scheduled jobs and Stripe payments, published to a floot.app subdomain or a custom domain. Websites can also be wrapped into iOS and Android apps. Model tokens run on your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription, so Floot meters build actions (one per tool call) instead: Free gives 100 a day, Pro $25/mo gives 1,000 plus $10 of hosting, and Power $100/mo gives 5,000 plus $25 of hosting.
Floot fits non-coders who already pay for Claude or ChatGPT and want a live app without wiring up git, Vercel and Supabase. Lovable and Bolt.new run their own built-in agent inside a dedicated builder. Weak spots: code export needs a paid plan, and self-hosting means replacing Floot's own packages.
On October 29, 2026 Floot launched Floot in ChatGPT on Product Hunt, and it was #3 on the daily leaderboard when checked late that day; Floot MCP was #2 of the day on September 24, 2026. Buying tip: start on Free to see how many build actions a typical day uses, then choose Pro or Power; yearly billing gives two months free.
Key features of Floot

- Real TypeScript and React apps with a live preview link while you build
- Managed Postgres database with browsing, backups and SQL dump export

Pros and cons
Pros
- No AI token markup: the model runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan
- Backend, database, auth and hosting set up without outside services
- Failed and cancelled actions never count against the daily limit
- Free plan with no end date and unlimited published apps
- Daily hosting limit pauses apps instead of running up a bill
Cons
- Code export (Get Code) requires a paid plan
- Self-hosting means replacing Floot's own packages and re-uploading files
- Every tool call, reads included, counts as a build action
- Custom domains, scheduled jobs and Google Play publishing are paid only
- ChatGPT asks to approve each action by default, stalling builds until changed
