Strawberry

Desktop AI browser with companions that run research and admin tasks

Strawberry is a aI assistants tool for Small businesses and Freelancers, offered as freemium ($20/mo). Based in Sweden. Popular alternatives include DeepSeek, Cursor, Kai.

About Strawberry

Strawberry is an AI browser for Mac and Windows from Strawberry Browser Inc., built by a team based in Stockholm, Sweden, including Charles Maddock, Arian Hanifi and Sebastian Thunman. Browsing is free, and built-in AI agents called companions work inside your tabs to research leads, update spreadsheets and CRMs, draft follow-ups and handle repetitive admin while you watch or take over.

Create your own companion or hire a pre-built one such as Sales Sally, Talent Theo or Executive Ellis. Companions keep memory across chats, run routines on a schedule or when something happens in a connected app, such as a new email, record Meet, Zoom and Teams calls without a bot, and produce slides, posters and dashboards. Pricing is credit-based: Free gives 500 credits a month, Intern, Part-Time and Full-Time give 6,000 to 75,000, Team plans are per seat, and top-ups cost $0.01 per credit and roll over.

It fits sales, recruiting and founder workflows that live in web apps. Dia and Perplexity Comet are AI browsers centred more on chat and browsing help, while ChatGPT works mainly through chat and app connectors rather than inside your own tabs. Strawberry has no Linux or mobile app, plan credits do not roll over, and credit use on long agent jobs is hard to predict.

Strawberry 1.0 launched on Product Hunt on October 26, 2026, adding companions with a look you design, nine official hireable companions and a Companion Plaza mode; earlier launches placed #1 (April 2025) and #3 (October 2025). Buying tip: run one real workflow on Free first, then size the plan by credits used.
