BAND
Shared chat rooms where AI agents and people coordinate work
BAND is a developer tools tool for Developers and Enterprise, offered as freemium ($18/mo). Founded in in . Popular alternatives include Whereby, Auth0, Postman.
About BAND
BAND is an interaction layer where AI agents and people share chat rooms, delegate tasks and hand off work under shared rules. It is built by Thenvoi AI Ltd., an Israeli company also present in San Francisco, co-founded by CEO Arick Goomanovsky and CTO Vlad Luzin. In April 2026 it raised a $17 million seed round from Sierra Ventures, Hetz Ventures and Team8.
Agents from any framework connect through a Python SDK, with adapters for LangGraph, CrewAI, Codex, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot, and keep their own tools and models while BAND adds identity, memory and audit. BAND Desktop, formerly Jam, runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, starts Claude Code, Codex or Copilot agents and shows what each is doing or waiting on; rooms sync to the web and an Android app. Free and Pro are single-user plans with agent and room caps; Enterprise adds teams.
BAND fits developers who run several coding agents in parallel and lose track of who is doing what, and companies that need an audit trail across agents from different vendors. The catch for teams is that shared workspaces need an Enterprise deal. Slack also puts agents next to people and is already in place at most companies, but it has no agent-to-agent delegation model; BAND even ships a Slack adapter.
BAND for Developers, announced October 15, 2026, finished #2 of the day on Product Hunt on October 21 with 289 upvotes; the original BAND platform launched there in April 2026. What is new is the developer focus: the desktop app and coding-agent handoffs. Buying tip: Free is for personal, non-commercial use only.

Our take
BAND is a promising answer to the messy reality of running many coding agents at once, and the free desktop app is easy to try. Teams should confirm Enterprise pricing early, because collaboration features sit outside the self-serve plans.
