Bulutfon
Bulutfon is a Turkish cloud phone system, often called a virtual PBX or bulut santral, built for small and mid-sized businesses in Turkey. Instead of buying and maintaining switchboard hardware in the office, companies get their phone numbers, call routing and reporting as a subscription service that works over the internet on desk phones, computers and mobile phones.
Businesses can use local geographic numbers and 0850 numbers, set up IVR menus that greet callers and route them to the right department, create call queues and ring groups, record calls, and receive voicemail by email. Employees answer calls from desktop and mobile softphone apps or IP desk phones, so remote and field teams stay on the same number. A web panel shows call reports, missed calls and agent performance, and integrations with CRM and help desk tools display caller details and log calls automatically, with an API for custom connections. Bulutfon operates under authorization from Turkey's telecom regulator (BTK) and is priced in Turkish lira per user or package.
Bulutfon fits Turkish SMBs, e-commerce companies, clinics, agencies and support teams that want a professional phone setup quickly and without hardware. Call recordings contain personal data, so businesses should handle them in line with KVKK. Local competitors such as Verimor and Netgsm offer similar cloud PBX services, while international VoIP tools like Aircall and Dialpad have richer integrations but weaker support for Turkish numbers, local billing and regulation.
Desk360
Desk360 is a customer communication product from Teknasyon, the Istanbul app developer. It started as an internal help desk, was opened to other companies around 2020 and, according to Teknasyon, reached 750 corporate customers in its first three months. The original product unified email, in-app messages, App Store and Google Play reviews, web forms, live chat and social channels into tickets, with a no-code mobile SDK for app developers.
Today the homepage is built around one job: running the WhatsApp Business API. Desk360 is an official WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, and the current product offers self-service API onboarding, a shared inbox in web and mobile apps, approved template messages for promotions and reminders, a public API and webhooks, virtual numbers for a local presence abroad, and an AI Agent that answers around the clock using ChatGPT. The platform is free: no panel, seat, message or number fee from Desk360. You pay only Meta's conversation charges and, for the AI Agent, OpenAI usage.
It fits small and mid-sized e-commerce brands that want WhatsApp support without paying a BSP markup. It is not a full help desk anymore: Zendesk and Freshdesk cover email, voice, SLAs and knowledge bases, while Respond.io or Gorgias add more channels and commerce integrations.
Buying tip: the legacy multichannel version still has a separate login, so check which product your contract covers. Meta's fees vary by country and category, and the pricing page notes the first 1,000 messages are free, so model costs using your own country rates.
