Bitrix24

Bitrix24 is an all-in-one business suite that combines CRM, task and project management, team chat and video calls, an intranet, a website and store builder and HR tools. It launched in 2012 from the team behind Bitrix, a web software company founded in 1998 in Kaliningrad, Russia, and the company says more than 15 million organizations have chosen it. Its core job is to give an SMB one workspace for selling, collaborating and running internal processes.

The CRM covers leads, deals, pipelines, invoices, estimates, web forms and a contact center that pulls in email, telephony, WhatsApp and messengers. Tasks support Kanban, Gantt and time tracking, and CoPilot adds AI across CRM, tasks, chat and calls. Pricing is per organization, not per user: a free plan for 1-2 users, then Basic (5 users), Standard (50), Professional (100) and Enterprise from 250 users. A self-hosted on-premise edition is sold separately.

Bitrix24 fits cost-conscious SMBs that want many tools for one flat price. The trade-offs are a crowded interface with a steep learning curve and modules that are shallower than best-of-breed tools. HubSpot has a cleaner CRM and stronger marketing automation, Zoho CRM offers deeper customization inside a wider app suite, and monday.com is easier for project-centric teams.

The 2026 push is Vibecode, which lets users describe apps, agents and chatbots in an AI chat and connect them to their account, alongside an MCP server. Use the free 15-day trial of the top tiers, and compare annual prices: Standard drops from $144 to $99 a month for up to 50 users.

Capsule CRM

Capsule is a CRM made by Zestia, a Manchester, UK software company founded in 2009 by Duncan Stockdill, Phil Haines and Wendy Rule. It launched as Javelin and was renamed Capsule in 2010. Its core job is giving small teams one tidy place for contacts, companies, sales pipelines, tasks and follow-ups without the setup burden of larger CRMs.

The product covers contact and company records, multiple sales pipelines with custom milestones, project boards for post-sale delivery, tasks and calendar sync, email tracking via Gmail and Outlook, workflow automation and reporting dashboards. Recent AI features include a pipeline generator, AI summaries, contact and business enrichment and meeting prep. Transpond, Capsule's own marketing tool, is an add-on from $11 a month. A free plan supports two users; paid tiers are Starter, Growth, Advanced and quote-based Ultimate.

Capsule fits agencies, consultancies, B2B service firms and small sales teams that value simplicity and strong accounting links (Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent). It is not built for high-volume outbound teams or complex enterprise processes. Pipedrive is stronger for activity-driven selling, folk is lighter for relationship-led networking, and HubSpot or Zoho CRM suit companies that want marketing and service hubs too.

Buying tip: workflow automation, multiple pipelines and most AI features start on Growth, so Starter mainly suits one to five people with one pipeline. Annual billing saves 10 to 18 percent depending on tier, and the 14-day trial needs no card and unlocks every feature.
