Inyon is a developer tools tool for Developers and Freelancers, offered as open source. Popular alternatives include Developer Tools, Cursor, Lovable.
About Inyon
Inyon is a free, MIT-licensed tool by solo developer Abhash Chakraborty that turns coding agents already running in tmux on your computer into chats you can answer from a phone or browser. The core job is simple: keep Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI moving when you step away from the desk.
Permission prompts, questions and menus become buttons. From the phone you can change model, effort and permission mode, rewind or compact a session, use slash commands, @ file search and ! shell commands, and send images. It shows context use, cost and plan limits, lets you browse files and the git tree, comment on diffs, commit and push, and follow subagent output with a Stop control. Push notifications fire when an agent needs you or a machine goes offline. Pairing is by QR code over an end-to-end encrypted tunnel or VPN, with hub and SSH modes, and no account.
It suits developers who run several agent sessions at once. Claude Code's own remote access covers only Claude, while Inyon reads Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot CLI and Antigravity CLI. There is an Android app but no iOS app yet, it depends on tmux, and the maker says three of the six agent readers are still in beta.
Inyon launched on Product Hunt on October 23, 2026 at version 0.20.2. Buying tip: it costs nothing, but it is a pre-1.0 solo project, so pin a version and read the GitHub releases before updating a setup you rely on.
