Fellow
Fellow is a meeting management platform made by a Canadian company headquartered in Ottawa. It covers the whole meeting cycle: collaborative agendas prepared before the call, notes and decisions captured during it, and action items and recaps followed up afterwards, with a strong focus on recurring one-on-ones and team meetings run by managers.
Agendas live in a shared notes document attached to each calendar event, with a template library for one-on-ones, stand-ups, retrospectives and board meetings. Fellow's AI notetaker joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls to record, transcribe and summarize, and privacy controls let organizations decide which meetings are recorded and who can see transcripts. Action items sync to tools such as Asana, Jira and Slack. There is a free plan with limits, then per-user Team and Business plans that unlock AI notes, longer history and admin controls, plus an Enterprise tier.
Fellow fits managers and organizations that want to improve meeting habits, not just capture transcripts. Solo users who only need a recorder get more for less from Otter, Fireflies or tl;dv, and teams already standardized on Notion or Confluence may find the agenda features overlap with what they have. Compared with Fathom or Fireflies, Fellow is stronger on pre-meeting preparation, one-on-one workflows and governance, while the pure notetakers are cheaper for transcription alone. Its value depends on the whole team adopting it, so rollout matters.
MeetGeek
MeetGeek is an AI meeting assistant built in Bucharest, Romania, by three former Ericsson colleagues: Dan Huru (CEO), Raluca Risnoveanu and Alexandru Mindru. It joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls as a bot, or captures other calls through its desktop app, browser extension and mobile app, then records, transcribes and summarises the conversation.
Transcription auto-detects more than 100 languages, and summaries follow the meeting language. Over 30 summary templates are included, and AI chat answers questions across one or many meetings and drafts follow-ups. Notes and action items flow to CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and Attio, to Slack, Notion, ClickUp, Asana and Jira, and to Greenhouse and Lever. Data can be hosted in the EU or US, and MeetGeek lists GDPR, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA support. The free Basic plan includes three transcription hours a month; Pro adds 20 hours, Business is unlimited and Enterprise is custom.
MeetGeek fits small and mid-sized sales, recruiting and customer success teams, especially in Europe where EU hosting matters. A visible bot in the call can put off some guests, Pro caps transcription hours, and free storage is short. Otter is stronger for live transcription, Fireflies has a bigger integration catalogue, and tl;dv is popular for building sales call libraries.
MeetGeek is backed by Early Game Ventures, a Central and Eastern European fund, and now offers an API and an MCP server so Claude and ChatGPT can query meeting data. Annual billing cuts the Pro and Business prices by about 37%.
