Fellow

Fellow is a meeting management platform made by a Canadian company headquartered in Ottawa. It covers the whole meeting cycle: collaborative agendas prepared before the call, notes and decisions captured during it, and action items and recaps followed up afterwards, with a strong focus on recurring one-on-ones and team meetings run by managers.

Agendas live in a shared notes document attached to each calendar event, with a template library for one-on-ones, stand-ups, retrospectives and board meetings. Fellow's AI notetaker joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls to record, transcribe and summarize, and privacy controls let organizations decide which meetings are recorded and who can see transcripts. Action items sync to tools such as Asana, Jira and Slack. There is a free plan with limits, then per-user Team and Business plans that unlock AI notes, longer history and admin controls, plus an Enterprise tier.

Fellow fits managers and organizations that want to improve meeting habits, not just capture transcripts. Solo users who only need a recorder get more for less from Otter, Fireflies or tl;dv, and teams already standardized on Notion or Confluence may find the agenda features overlap with what they have. Compared with Fathom or Fireflies, Fellow is stronger on pre-meeting preparation, one-on-one workflows and governance, while the pure notetakers are cheaper for transcription alone. Its value depends on the whole team adopting it, so rollout matters.

jamie

jamie is an AI meeting note-taker from a Berlin-based German startup that launched it in 2022. Unlike Otter or Fireflies, it sends no bot into the call: the macOS, Windows or iPhone app captures audio on your device, so it works with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, any other call tool and in-person meetings. After each meeting it produces a summary, decisions and tasks, and the audio is deleted once transcribed.

Beyond notes, jamie offers Ask Jamie chat across past meetings, custom templates and vocabulary, pre-meeting briefings and workflows that update a CRM or document. The free plan gives 10 meetings a month capped at 30 minutes each. US customers pay $29 per month for Plus (20 meetings up to 2 hours), $55 for Pro (unlimited meetings up to 5 hours, CRM sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Attio, API and MCP) and $45 per member for Team; EU prices are in euros and yearly billing saves about 17%.

jamie fits European consultants, sales teams and regulated firms that cannot put a visible recording bot in client calls. Granola is the closest bot-free rival but is US-hosted; Otter and Fireflies use bots but offer broader integrations; tl;dv is stronger for video playback. jamie keeps no video, so it is not a recording archive.

Compliance is the main selling point: ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA alignment for financial firms, processing in the EEA, Switzerland and UK, and no training on customer data. SOC 2 Type II was still listed as pending in 2026, which matters for US procurement.
