CBOT
CBOT is an enterprise conversational AI company founded in 2017 and based at Istanbul Teknokent in Avcılar, Istanbul. Led by CEO Mete Aktaş, it builds voice and chat AI agents for large organisations, mainly in banking, insurance, telecom and retail. Its customers include Ziraat Bankası, Halkbank and Garanti BBVA, and QNB's mobile banking assistant Q runs on the CBOT Platform. Gartner featured the company in its Competitive Landscape: Conversational Solutions 2025 report.
The CBOT Platform is used to build, operate, monitor and improve AI agents alongside human teams. Voice agents handle calls for collections, identity verification, appointments and customer service; digital agents work across web, WhatsApp, Instagram and SMS or run behind the scenes to trigger workflows and update records. A customer service workspace gives human agents cross-channel history, live answer suggestions and summaries. It also sells packaged digital employees such as TAHSİLDAR for collections, plus its own LLM. Guardrails, observability and evaluation are built in, and it can be deployed in public cloud, private cloud, on-premises or hybrid. Pricing is not published.
CBOT fits regulated enterprises that need Turkish-language voice automation and on-premises deployment. It is not a self-serve tool: Botpress and Voiceflow let small teams build bots on a free tier, and Landbot is simpler for marketing chatbots.
Buying tip: ask for sector references and start with a pilot on one high-volume use case, such as collections calls.
Lyro by Tidio
Lyro is the AI customer service agent built into Tidio, a customer service platform founded in Poland and popular with small and mid-sized online stores. Launched in 2023, Lyro answers customer questions in live chat and other channels using the store's own knowledge: FAQs, help center articles, website content and uploaded documents, so it replies in natural language without manual decision trees.
Merchants train Lyro by importing content or adding question-and-answer pairs, then test responses before going live. Lyro answers common questions about shipping, returns, payment methods, opening hours and product details around the clock, can look up order status for Shopify stores, and hands the conversation to a human agent in the Tidio inbox when it cannot help or when the customer asks for a person. It understands and replies in multiple languages. Lyro works alongside Tidio's live chat, ticketing and Flows chatbot builder. Pricing is based on the number of AI-handled conversations per month, sold as an add-on or plan on top of Tidio, with a 7-day free trial.
Lyro suits small e-commerce stores and service businesses that want to automate repetitive questions quickly without a support operations team. It requires Tidio, and customization of tone, actions and integrations is limited compared with enterprise tools. Intercom's Fin offers deeper workflows and actions at higher per-outcome prices, Gorgias is stronger for Shopify-centric support teams, and Zendesk AI agents suit larger organizations already on Zendesk.
