AfterShip

AfterShip is a post-purchase platform for ecommerce brands, started in Hong Kong around 2011 to 2012 by Teddy Chan, Andrew Chan and Dante Tsang after Teddy built a script to cut where-is-my-order emails in his own store. It raised a $66M Series B led by Tiger Global in 2021. Its core job is keeping shoppers informed after checkout and reducing support tickets about deliveries, returns and delays.

The suite is sold as separate products: Tracking (branded tracking pages, delivery notifications, estimated delivery dates and analytics across 1,300+ carriers), Returns (self-serve returns and exchanges), Shipping (label printing and rate comparison), Protection (shipping insurance), plus personalization and warranty tools. AI features and an MCP server give assistants read access to shipment and return data. Each product has its own tiers, and the Shopify App Store versions are priced differently from direct plans.

AfterShip fits Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce brands that ship thousands of orders a year and want to turn tracking emails and pages into a marketing channel. Brands mainly needing cheap labels should look at Shippo, Easyship or ShipStation, and EU merchants often pick Sendcloud.

Buying tip: in mid-2026 AfterShip cut its direct Tracking plans from four to three, renamed Pro to Premium at $59 a month billed yearly, and moved to annual shipment quotas (6,000 a year on both paid tiers). API and webhooks start on Premium. On Shopify, compare the app's own plans, which include a free tier for 50 shipments a month.

Prisync

Prisync is a competitor price tracking and dynamic pricing SaaS founded in Istanbul in 2013, led by co-founder and CEO Burç Tanır. It monitors competitors' prices and stock status on their websites and marketplaces, then helps e-commerce teams and brands react with pricing rules. It has grown partly through acquisitions, including Australia's Spotlite, the UK's Competitor Price Watch and Lithuania's Marguard in 2021.

Products are tracked by URL, by sales channel such as Google Shopping or Amazon, or by a hybrid of both. Every plan includes unlimited competitors, and limits are set by product count. URL-based plans cost $99 per month for 100 products, $199 for 1,000 and $399 for 5,000, while channel-based plans start at $199 and hybrid plans at $299. Premium adds the dynamic pricing engine, marketplace and variant tracking and API access for 20% extra; Platinum adds price history and MAP monitoring. The 14-day trial needs no credit card.

Prisync fits small and mid-sized retailers and brands with a few hundred to a few thousand SKUs in price-sensitive categories such as electronics, DIY or auto parts. Enterprises with huge catalogs often pick Competera or Omnia for demand-based pricing models, and Price2Spy is a cheaper rival. Shopify and Google Shopping feeds connect directly; other stores use feeds, Excel or the API.

Tip: start URL-based Professional with your 100 most price-sensitive products, check match accuracy for two weeks, then scale. URL plans refresh prices up to three times a day, enough for most retail categories.
