Bulutfon
Bulutfon is a Turkish cloud phone system, often called a virtual PBX or bulut santral, built for small and mid-sized businesses in Turkey. Instead of buying and maintaining switchboard hardware in the office, companies get their phone numbers, call routing and reporting as a subscription service that works over the internet on desk phones, computers and mobile phones.
Businesses can use local geographic numbers and 0850 numbers, set up IVR menus that greet callers and route them to the right department, create call queues and ring groups, record calls, and receive voicemail by email. Employees answer calls from desktop and mobile softphone apps or IP desk phones, so remote and field teams stay on the same number. A web panel shows call reports, missed calls and agent performance, and integrations with CRM and help desk tools display caller details and log calls automatically, with an API for custom connections. Bulutfon operates under authorization from Turkey's telecom regulator (BTK) and is priced in Turkish lira per user or package.
Bulutfon fits Turkish SMBs, e-commerce companies, clinics, agencies and support teams that want a professional phone setup quickly and without hardware. Call recordings contain personal data, so businesses should handle them in line with KVKK. Local competitors such as Verimor and Netgsm offer similar cloud PBX services, while international VoIP tools like Aircall and Dialpad have richer integrations but weaker support for Turkish numbers, local billing and regulation.
Zoho Desk
Zoho Desk is the customer service help desk from Zoho Corporation, the privately held software company Sridhar Vembu and Tony Thomas founded in 1996 and run from Chennai, India. It pulls email, web forms, phone, live chat, social media and messaging apps into one ticket queue and shows each customer's history from Zoho CRM or another CRM beside the conversation.
Core tools include round-robin and skill-based assignment, SLAs and escalations, Blueprints for enforcing step-by-step support processes, multi-department queues, a help center with knowledge base and community in more than 40 languages. AI arrives in layers: Express includes AI agents using your own model key or Zoho's LLM with a monthly token allowance, Standard adds an answer bot that drafts replies from the knowledge base, and Professional unlocks the full Zia assistant for sentiment, predictions and anomaly alerts. A free plan covers three agents; paid plans are per agent and cheapest on annual billing.
Zoho Desk fits small and mid-sized support teams, especially companies already using Zoho CRM or Zoho One. The interface is busy, key automation and telephony sit on Professional or higher, and monthly billing costs noticeably more than the annual list prices. Zendesk has a larger app marketplace at a higher price, Freshdesk offers similar pricing with a cleaner interface, and Help Scout is simpler for teams that want a shared inbox feel.
In 2025 Zoho introduced its own Zia LLM and Zia Agents, which now power Desk AI features without sending data to outside model providers unless you choose BYOK.
