Appcircle
Appcircle is a mobile DevOps platform that grew out of Smartface, a mobile development company with roots in Turkey; the two products for mobile CI/CD were announced in 2019. The legal entity is Appcircle Inc. in the US, while much of the engineering is in Istanbul. Its core job is automating how iOS and Android apps are built, signed, tested and shipped, including inside banks and other regulated enterprises.
The platform is split into modules: Build for iOS, Android, React Native and Flutter on Apple Silicon machines; Testing Distribution to send builds to testers by email, QR code or a portal; an Enterprise App Store for in-house apps without MDM; Publish to App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery with approval gates; CodePush for over-the-air React Native updates; and Signing Identities for certificates and keystores. Appcircle AI diagnoses failed builds and offers an MCP server. A free Starter plan covers small projects, and the Corporate plan is quoted per module.
Appcircle fits enterprises that cannot send source code to a public cloud, since it can run on private cloud or fully self-hosted on Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift with SSO and LDAP. Its named customers include Ziraat Teknoloji, Halkbank and Intertech. For small teams, Bitrise and Codemagic are better known, and Firebase App Distribution or Expo cover lighter testing and update needs at lower cost.
The free Starter plan includes 20 builds a month with 30-minute builds, 1,000 CodePush updates and 5 store publishes. Paid Corporate pricing is not public and is billed as an annual license.
Vercel
Vercel is the hosting and developer platform created by the makers of Next.js. Connect a Git repository and every push gets a preview deployment with a unique URL; merges deploy to production with instant rollbacks. The platform handles builds, global CDN, serverless and edge functions, image optimization, ISR and analytics.
It supports most frontend frameworks, but Next.js features (ISR, middleware, server actions) work best on Vercel. Storage partners (Neon, Upstash, Supabase) integrate through the marketplace, and v0 generates UI from prompts.
Pricing is usage-based on top of a per-seat Pro fee; bandwidth, function invocations and image optimization can produce surprising bills at scale, which pushes some teams to Cloudflare or self-hosting.
Vercel was founded by Guillermo Rauch, the creator of Next.js, and has raised substantial venture funding to build out its frontend cloud. Its v0 product, which turns prompts into React and Next.js code, has become a major entry point for new users. For teams in Turkey, European regions such as Frankfurt keep latency reasonable, and the KVKK implications of storing personal data abroad should be reviewed before launch.
