Afi.ai
Afi.ai is a cloud-native backup and recovery service for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Kubernetes. It protects mailboxes, drives, shared drives, calendars and contacts as well as Teams and SharePoint data, and it was built from scratch as a SaaS product rather than adapted from on-premises backup software, which shows in its quick setup and modern interface.
Backups run automatically on a schedule, with unlimited storage and unlimited retention included in a per-user price. Restores can be granular (a single email, file or folder) or cover a full account at a chosen point in time. AI-driven monitoring flags unusual activity such as mass deletions or encryption patterns that suggest ransomware, and a multi-tenant console lets managed service providers run backups for many client organizations from one place. Kubernetes cluster backup is priced separately on a custom basis.
Afi fits IT teams and MSPs that want SaaS backup without managing storage or legacy agents, especially organizations on Google Workspace, where fewer strong options exist. It is a younger and less known vendor than Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, Backupify or Spanning, and it does not cover Salesforce or other SaaS apps, so companies that want one vendor for every cloud application may prefer broader suites such as Druva or Own. For pure Workspace and 365 protection, transparent pricing and fast restores are its strongest arguments.
lifebox
lifebox is a cloud storage and backup service from Turkcell, Turkey's largest mobile operator, now run by its digital services company Lifecell Dijital Servisler ve Çözümler A.Ş. It backs up photos, videos, music, documents and the phone's contact list, and it is open to anyone, not only Turkcell subscribers, who can sign up with an email address or phone number. It frees phone storage while keeping photo archives safe.
The apps for Android, iOS and the web upload media automatically, group photos by people, places and objects with AI recognition, and build albums, collages and short video stories. Contact backup handles up to 25,000 entries and can merge duplicates, files can be shared by link with optional passwords and expiry, and family sharing covers up to five users. A free 5 GB Welcome package is assigned on first sign-in, and paid packages of 100 GB, 250 GB and 2.5 TB are priced in Turkish lira, with the 250 GB and 2.5 TB tiers including Premium original-quality storage.
lifebox suits Turkish households and Turkcell customers who want a local service with lira pricing, carrier billing and Turkish support. It offers little for teams: there is no desktop sync client, admin console or business collaboration. Google Drive and Dropbox remain stronger for file sync and work, while pCloud appeals to people who prefer a one-time lifetime plan.
Turkcell regularly runs promotions, such as discounted first months on the 250 GB package for new subscribers or bank customers, so check current campaigns before paying list price. Annual plans save up to a third.
