Faprika

Faprika is a hosted e-commerce platform from Istanbul, run by İnovabil Teknoloji San. ve Tic. A.Ş. The company cites about 20 years of e-commerce experience and more than 3,000 brands on the platform. Its core job is to give Turkish merchants an online store plus one panel for orders, stock, shipping and e-invoicing across their own site and the big marketplaces.

Faprika connects to Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon, n11, Temu, AliExpress and others, syncs stock, sends e-Fatura, e-Arşiv and e-İrsaliye documents, and plugs into Turkish payment providers such as iyzico, PayTR and Param, plus bank virtual POS. Other modules cover WhatsApp orders, dealer commissions, B2B wholesale, multi-currency export, warehouse management and FaprikAI for ads and content. Plans come in two families: Profesyonel (Start, Master, Ultimate, Elite) and Premium (Smart, Enterprise, Exclusive), plus a custom Private tier. Marketplace integrations only arrive from Ultimate upward.

Faprika suits Turkish SMBs and growing brands that sell on several marketplaces and want local invoicing and cargo handled in one place. Compared with ikas, it feels more traditional but offers deeper B2B and ERP options; Ticimax and İdeaSoft are its closest like-for-like rivals. Shopify is better for selling abroad with a global app ecosystem.

Buying tip: listed prices are starting prices tied to yearly payment, with campaigns such as pay one year, use 15 months and 12-month installments. Check whether VAT is included and which integrations are marked optional before choosing a tier.

WordPress.com

WordPress.com is the hosted, fully managed version of WordPress operated by Automattic, the San Francisco company founded by WordPress co-creator Matt Mullenweg. It is distinct from WordPress.org, the free open-source software you install on your own hosting: on WordPress.com, Automattic handles servers, updates, security, backups and performance, and you choose a plan that unlocks features.

Entry plans give you a hosted blog or website with the block editor, themes, a custom domain and no ads, plus built-in tools for newsletters, subscriptions and paid content. Higher tiers unlock what most people think of as real WordPress: installing any plugin and custom theme, SFTP, SSH and database access, staging sites, essentially managed WordPress hosting. The ecommerce tier bundles WooCommerce with premium extensions for online stores. Jetpack features such as backups, security scanning, spam protection and stats are integrated, and a free plan on a wordpress.com subdomain with ads lets anyone start. Automattic renames and restructures plans from time to time, so it is worth checking which tier includes plugins before buying.

WordPress.com suits bloggers, writers, small businesses and creators who want WordPress without managing hosting. Developers who want full control and the cheapest hosting per site often prefer self-hosted WordPress on providers such as Kinsta, WP Engine or SiteGround. Squarespace and Wix are simpler all-in-one builders with less flexibility, and Ghost is a focused alternative for paid newsletters and publications.
