ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs is an AI audio company founded in 2022 by Piotr Dąbkowski and Mati Staniszewski, both originally from Poland, and now one of the most widely used voice AI platforms. Its models generate natural, expressive speech in more than 70 languages, including Turkish, and the product line has grown from text to speech into a complete audio stack for creators, developers and enterprises.
Text to speech offers a large voice library and several model families balancing quality and latency. Voice cloning comes in two forms: instant cloning from a short sample and professional cloning trained on longer recordings. Speech to speech converts one voice into another while keeping delivery, Dubbing translates video and audio into other languages while preserving the original speaker's voice, and a sound effects model generates audio from text prompts. Scribe provides high-accuracy speech to text, and the agents platform (launched as Conversational AI) builds voice agents that answer phone and web calls. Pricing is credit-based: a free tier with attribution requirements, then Starter, Creator and Pro plans for individuals and Scale, Business and Enterprise plans with more credits and seats.
ElevenLabs suits audiobook and podcast producers, YouTubers, game and app developers, localization teams and companies building voice agents. Costs can climb at high volume, and voice cloning requires consent and responsible use. OpenAI and Google offer cheaper voices inside their ecosystems, Cartesia competes on low-latency real-time speech, and Play.ht and Murf target creators and voiceover work.
Luma Dream Machine
Dream Machine is the AI video product of Luma AI, a Palo Alto company founded in 2021 that first became known for NeRF-based 3D capture. Dream Machine launched in June 2024 and turns text prompts and images into short, cinematic video clips. In November 2025 Luma raised a $900 million Series C led by HUMAIN at a valuation reported above $4 billion.
The engine is Luma's Ray family. Ray3, released in September 2025, added reasoning-style self-checking and native 16-bit HDR with EXR export, Ray3.14 in January 2026 brought native 1080p with faster, cheaper generation, and Ray3.2 in June 2026 added up to 16 keyframes for directing motion. You can generate from text or images, modify existing footage in a new style, extend clips and reframe aspect ratios. In March 2026 Luma launched Luma Agents, a workspace for end-to-end creative projects that also gives access to third-party models such as Google Veo and Kling. Plans are credit-based: Plus, Pro and Ultra, plus Team and Enterprise.
It suits creators, agencies and studios producing ads, social clips, previsualization and VFX plates. Runway offers a broader editing toolkit, Pika is cheaper for playful social content, and Krea is stronger for real-time image work. Credits burn quickly at high quality, and the official pricing page lists no permanent free plan.
Practical tip: at the listed Ray3.14 rates, 1080p text-to-video costs 80 credits per second, so Plus's 10,000 credits buy roughly two minutes of final-quality footage. Iterate in draft mode at 4 credits per second and only render winners at full resolution.
