Duda
Duda is a website building platform designed for agencies, SaaS companies and hosting providers that create and manage websites at scale. The company was founded in 2009 and has offices in Palo Alto and Tel Aviv. Rather than serving individual site owners, Duda focuses on the teams building sites for many clients, with white labeling, client permissions and a central dashboard for hundreds of sites.
The drag-and-drop editor works with templates, reusable sections and widgets, while dynamic pages generate many pages from a single collection, useful for locations, listings or services. Sites are built for fast loading and good Core Web Vitals, and built-in features cover multilingual sites, membership areas, basic e-commerce and AI assistance for content. APIs let SaaS platforms embed Duda as their own website builder. Plans start with a single-site Basic tier and scale through Team and Agency, with white label and client management on higher plans and custom pricing for platforms.
Duda fits agencies building local business, franchise and multi-location sites, and software vendors who want to offer websites to their customers. It gives less design freedom than Webflow, per-site costs add up, and its e-commerce is basic compared with Shopify. Webflow suits design-led studios, WordPress offers maximum flexibility and plugin choice, and Wix suits individuals building a single site.
Jimdo
Jimdo is a website builder from Hamburg, Germany, founded in 2007 by Christian Springub, Fridtjof Detzner and Matthias Henze. It was one of the first hosted site builders aimed at non-technical small business owners and has been used to create millions of sites. Its core job is getting a small business, freelancer or club online with a clean site, a domain and, if needed, a small shop.
Jimdo offers two editors. The AI-assisted builder asks a few questions and generates a site with text and images that you then adjust in a simple block editor, while the Creator editor gives more design freedom and code access. Both include mobile-friendly templates, SEO settings, contact forms, built-in statistics and listings for local search. The online store supports product variants, discounts and payments through PayPal and Stripe without commission, and Jimdo says shops work best with up to about 100 products. Plans run from a free tier with a Jimdo subdomain to Start, Grow and Unlimited for websites and separate online store tiers.
Jimdo fits sole traders, consultants, therapists, trades and local shops that want a site live in an afternoon. Wix and Squarespace offer far more design freedom and apps, Hostinger Website Builder is cheaper with hosting included, and Shopify is the better choice once a store grows beyond a small catalog.
In mid-2026 Jimdo added a top Unlimited plan at $49.50 a month with 500 GB of storage and faster premium support. Prices are lowest on 12- or 24-month terms and Jimdo renders them by region, so check the price shown at checkout before choosing a term.
