Documint
Documint is a no-code document generation tool that turns data into PDFs. Users design templates in a visual, drag-and-drop editor and then fill them automatically with records from Airtable, from automation tools such as Zapier and Make, or from any system that can call its REST API. It is a small, focused product aimed at no-code builders and operations teams.
Templates support dynamic fields, conditional content, repeating sections and line-item loops, tables, images and basic calculations, which covers proposals, quotes, invoices, contracts, reports and certificates. A native Airtable extension and automation integrations generate documents when a record changes, and generated files can be returned as links, saved back to the source or sent onward. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial on the entry Silver plan, and the Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers scale mainly by the number of documents generated per year.
Documint fits teams that keep their data in Airtable or similar no-code tools and want good-looking documents without writing HTML. Developers usually prefer HTML or code-based engines such as PDFMonkey or Carbone that are easier to version and test, and Formstack Documents offers more enterprise workflow features. Very complex layouts, high volumes and strict formatting requirements can push the visual editor to its limits, so test your most demanding template before committing.
iLovePDF
iLovePDF is an online PDF toolkit from a company based in Barcelona, Spain, and one of the most visited PDF sites in the world. It packs dozens of single-purpose tools into a simple interface: merge, split, compress, convert to and from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG and HTML, rotate, number pages, watermark, unlock, protect, repair and sign. The same company runs iLoveIMG for image tasks.
Most tools work for free in the browser with limits on file size and number of tasks, and ads are shown. Premium removes those limits and unlocks OCR, batch processing, desktop apps for Windows and macOS that work offline, and mobile apps, while Business plans add team management and central billing. Electronic signatures with signer workflows and audit trails are available, and iLoveAPI lets developers automate the same operations from their own applications. Files processed online are deleted from the servers automatically after a short period.
iLovePDF fits students, office workers and small businesses who need quick conversions and compression without installing software. It is not a full PDF editor: changing existing text, advanced form building, redaction and accessibility work are better handled in Adobe Acrobat, Foxit or PDF Expert. Smallpdf offers a similar toolkit with a more polished interface at a higher price, and PDF24 is a free alternative with a Windows desktop app. For sensitive documents, prefer offline tools or company-approved software.
