Coupler.io
Coupler.io is a no-code data integration platform built by Railsware, a Ukrainian software product studio. It began as a Google Sheets add-on that imported data from Airtable and other apps, then grew into a standalone service that pulls data from business tools into spreadsheets, BI dashboards and warehouses on a schedule. Its core job is automated reporting for teams that do not have data engineers.
Coupler.io connects to more than 400 sources, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, HubSpot, Shopify, QuickBooks and Xero, and sends data to Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL and Redshift. Between source and destination you can filter, aggregate, append and join data. Newer AI features let you build flows by chat, ask questions about your data and expose it to Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants through MCP servers. Plans scale by connected accounts, destinations, refresh frequency and rows.
It fits marketing agencies, finance teams and small businesses that report in spreadsheets or Looker Studio and want daily or hourly refreshes without code. Fivetran and Airbyte are stronger for warehouse-first data teams with large volumes, Hevo Data sits in between, and Supermetrics-style tools focus mostly on marketing data. Coupler.io is not built for complex transformations or real-time pipelines.
Buying tip: the free plan allows only manual refresh and 100 rows per run, so use the 7-day full trial to test real reports. Annual billing saves about 25%, and the Active plan removes row limits.
NocoDB
NocoDB is a platform that puts a spreadsheet-style interface on top of a relational database. Since January 2026 its code has been published under the Sustainable Use License, so it is source-available rather than OSI-approved open source. It can connect to an existing PostgreSQL or MySQL database, or use its own SQLite or Postgres storage, and turns tables into grids that non-technical colleagues can browse, filter, edit and share, while the data stays in a database that developers already own.
Views include grid, gallery, kanban, form and calendar, with filters, sorting, grouping and field types such as attachments, links between tables, lookups, rollups and formulas. Every table automatically gets REST APIs with a Swagger reference, plus webhooks and API tokens for automation. Role-based permissions control who can view or edit each base. You can self-host NocoDB with Docker for free or use NocoDB Cloud, which is priced per seat and adds hosted infrastructure and team features.
NocoDB fits developers who need a quick admin panel or internal tool over SQL data, and teams leaving Airtable because of cost, record limits or data ownership. The interface is less polished than Airtable, automations and integrations are thinner, and self-hosting means taking care of updates and backups. Baserow is the closest open-source rival, Airtable leads on user experience and ecosystem, and internal tool builders such as Retool or Appsmith fit better when you need custom logic rather than a spreadsheet.
