ClickMeeting

ClickMeeting is a webinar and online meeting platform based in Gdańsk, Poland. It started around 2011 inside the email marketing company GetResponse and became an independent company in 2016. It reports more than 15 million users a year and is ISO 27001:2022 certified. Its core job is to run live, on-demand and automated webinars in the browser, with no download needed for attendees, plus the registration, payments and follow-up around them.

Features include registration pages, polls and surveys, screen sharing, breakout rooms, recording, AI transcription, certificates, paid webinars with Stripe or PayPal checkout and discount codes, and streaming to YouTube and Facebook. Plans are priced by attendee count: Live covers real-time events in tiers from 50 to 1,000 attendees, Automated adds pre-recorded webinars that run on a schedule with automatic reminders and follow-ups, and Enterprise supports events up to 10,000 viewers. There is a 14-day free trial for 25 attendees.

ClickMeeting fits trainers, educators, SaaS marketers and small businesses that want a reliable, easy webinar tool with built-in monetization. It is less suited to large hybrid conferences or deep marketing automation. GoTo Webinar is the long-time enterprise standard, Livestorm offers a more modern event workflow with stronger CRM sync, and Demio or WebinarJam focus on marketing-driven evergreen funnels.

Buying tip: price tiers jump with attendee count (Live is $48 for 50 attendees but $335 for 1,000 monthly), so pick the tier that matches your typical live audience and save up to 20% with annual billing.

Tito

Tito is an event ticketing platform from Dublin, Ireland, created by the organizers of tech conferences and widely used by developer conferences, meetups, workshops and community events. Its reputation rests on a clean, fast checkout for attendees and a fair, transparent fee model for organizers.

Organizers create releases, which are flexible ticket types with their own prices, quantities, dates and visibility, and add discount codes, waitlists, custom questions, invoicing and refunds. Attendees can manage and transfer their own tickets. The Tito check-in app scans tickets at the door, and an embeddable widget sells tickets directly on the event's own website. Payments go to the organizer's own Stripe or PayPal account, so money arrives directly instead of being held until after the event. Free events are free to run, while paid tickets carry a percentage fee plus the payment processor's charges. Webhooks and an API make it popular with technical organizers.

Tito fits conference organizers and communities that already have an audience and want tasteful, low-fee ticketing. It has no discovery marketplace to bring new attendees, marketing and reporting tools are basic, and it is a small company. Eventbrite provides discovery and marketing reach, Luma is popular for community events and meetups, and Pretix is an open-source option. Organizers in Turkey should note that Stripe does not onboard Turkish businesses and PayPal does not operate there, which limits paid ticketing through Tito.

For tech events, Tito remains a respected choice because it stays out of the way.
