ClickMeeting

ClickMeeting is a webinar and online meeting platform based in Gdańsk, Poland. It started around 2011 inside the email marketing company GetResponse and became an independent company in 2016. It reports more than 15 million users a year and is ISO 27001:2022 certified. Its core job is to run live, on-demand and automated webinars in the browser, with no download needed for attendees, plus the registration, payments and follow-up around them.

Features include registration pages, polls and surveys, screen sharing, breakout rooms, recording, AI transcription, certificates, paid webinars with Stripe or PayPal checkout and discount codes, and streaming to YouTube and Facebook. Plans are priced by attendee count: Live covers real-time events in tiers from 50 to 1,000 attendees, Automated adds pre-recorded webinars that run on a schedule with automatic reminders and follow-ups, and Enterprise supports events up to 10,000 viewers. There is a 14-day free trial for 25 attendees.

ClickMeeting fits trainers, educators, SaaS marketers and small businesses that want a reliable, easy webinar tool with built-in monetization. It is less suited to large hybrid conferences or deep marketing automation. GoTo Webinar is the long-time enterprise standard, Livestorm offers a more modern event workflow with stronger CRM sync, and Demio or WebinarJam focus on marketing-driven evergreen funnels.

Buying tip: price tiers jump with attendee count (Live is $48 for 50 attendees but $335 for 1,000 monthly), so pick the tier that matches your typical live audience and save up to 20% with annual billing.

Eventbrite

Eventbrite is one of the largest self-service ticketing and event discovery platforms, founded in San Francisco in 2006. After years as a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it was acquired by the Italian software group Bending Spoons in a deal that closed in March 2026. Organisers build an event page, set ticket types, prices and capacity, collect payments and registration data, and check attendees in with the Organizer app. Every public event also appears in Eventbrite's marketplace, where the platform recommends events to people based on location and interests.

Under Eventbrite's current published pricing, free events carry no fees, and an optional Pro subscription adds marketing tools. Paid tickets also include a per-ticket service fee plus payment processing, which organisers can pass on to buyers; rates differ by country. Paid tools add email campaigns to past attendees, social and on-platform ads, reserved seating, discount codes, ticket tiers, waitlists, embedded checkout and reporting, and an API connects attendee data with CRMs and marketing tools.

Eventbrite works well for workshops, meetups, classes, concerts and conferences that benefit from discovery and want reliable ticketing without building anything. The trade-offs are fees on paid tickets, limited control over branding and buyer data, and discovery that brings an audience for some categories but not all. Luma is popular for community and tech events with a cleaner design, Tito and Ticket Tailor offer lower fees and more control, and Meetup suits recurring groups.
