Basecamp
Basecamp is the project management and team communication tool made by 37signals, the Chicago company founded by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson. It is deliberately opinionated: every project gets the same toolkit of a message board, to-do lists, a schedule, docs and files, a Campfire group chat and automatic check-ins, so people always know where to find things and work stays in writing instead of scattered across chat and email.
Beyond the basics, Hill Charts show how far each piece of work has moved from figuring it out to getting it done, Lineup puts all projects on one timeline, Card Table adds a kanban board, and Timesheets track hours. Clients can be invited into projects with fine control over what they see. Pricing is flat rather than per user: a free plan covers one project, paid Freelancer, Studio and Pro plans are capped by active projects, and Unlimited covers unlimited projects and users at one fixed price, which becomes one of the cheapest options in the market once a company passes roughly twenty people.
Basecamp suits agencies, remote companies and small businesses that value calm, asynchronous communication and simple accountability. It intentionally leaves out Gantt dependencies, custom fields, resource planning and deep reporting, and its integration catalogue is thin. Asana and monday.com are better for structured planning and automations, ClickUp for teams that want every feature in one place, and Linear or Jira for engineering workflows.
Mobildev
Mobildev (Mobildev İletişim Hizmetleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş.) is an Istanbul-based messaging and permission marketing company that cites 23 years of experience, about 23,000 customers and roughly 900 million messages a month. Its core job: send bulk and transactional SMS and e-mail to Turkish customers while keeping consent records compliant with the İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi) and KVKK rules.
The portfolio covers bulk SMS with alphanumeric sender IDs and a four-digit short number, an SMS API (HTTP/S and SOAP), MMS, an e-mail marketing suite, personalised short links (SML), surveys, landing pages and an SMS inbox. Its compliance products stand out: İVT manages explicit consent and commercial message permissions across SMS, web forms, QR codes and mobile apps, records evidence and pushes permissions to İYS. Mobildev is an İYS integrator authorised by the Ministry of Trade. Prices are not published; SMS packages and modules are quoted.
Mobildev fits Turkish retailers, banks, healthcare groups and e-commerce brands that send high SMS volumes and need provable consent. It is not for companies outside Turkey or teams wanting self-serve monthly plans. NetGSM and İleti Merkezi are simpler, cheaper bulk SMS options with public prices, Verimor adds telephony, and Brevo is better for global e-mail marketing.
A timely use case: KVKK Board Principle Decision 2026/266 requires loyalty programs to verify the cardholder before points or discounts are used, with a deadline of February 28, 2027, and Mobildev sells Wentro Verify (OTP, QR and passkey checks) for this.
