Anyword

Anyword is an AI copywriting platform for marketing teams, built around predicting which copy will perform before it is published. The company began in 2013 as Keywee, a New York and Tel Aviv startup that optimised social ad campaigns for publishers, and relaunched in March 2021 as Anyword after years of collecting ad performance data. Its core job is generating ads, emails, landing pages and social posts and scoring each variation for likely engagement or conversion.

Every piece of copy gets a Predictive Performance Score from 0 to 100 based on audience, channel and goal, and the editor updates predictions as you edit. Brand Voice stores tone, audiences and guidelines; Blog Wizard drafts long-form posts with a plagiarism check. Business and Enterprise tiers add custom models trained on your past copy, content intelligence against Anyword's A/B test dataset, automated website messaging tests and a Performance API that feeds predictions into your own AI agents. Self-serve plans start at $49 a month with a 7-day trial.

Anyword fits performance marketers and agencies that test lots of ad and email variants and care about conversion more than prose. It is pricier than general AI writers, prediction quotas are tight on lower plans, and the best features sit in custom-priced tiers. Jasper is stronger for brand-wide content operations, Copy.ai for GTM workflows, and ChatGPT alone is cheaper for occasional copy.

Anyword now positions itself as LLM-agnostic: its API and Chrome extension add performance scoring on top of ChatGPT, Gemini and Notion.

Writer

WRITER is an enterprise generative AI platform from Writer, Inc., a San Francisco company founded in 2020 by May Habib and Waseem AlShikh, who previously built the localization startup Qordoba. Unlike most AI writing tools, WRITER trains its own Palmyra family of large language models. It raised a $200 million Series C at a $1.9 billion valuation in November 2024. Its core job has moved from on-brand writing assistance to agents that automate multi-step business work for marketing, sales, finance and support teams.

The main surface is WRITER Agent, one interface for chat and automation. Teams save repeatable workflows as playbooks, schedule routines, connect sources such as Google Drive and SharePoint, and ground answers in a graph-based Knowledge Graph. Brand voice profiles keep output consistent, and AI Studio gives developers API access to Palmyra X6 plus domain models for finance and medicine; the older X5 and X4 retire on December 14, 2026. Plans are Starter (per seat, credit-limited) and Enterprise (custom, with unlimited free users).

WRITER suits regulated or brand-sensitive enterprises that want governance, audit trails and model control in one vendor. Small teams usually get more for less from ChatGPT or Claude, Jasper is simpler for marketing copy, and Grammarly is better for everyday editing.

Buying tip: the plans page does not show prices; third-party trackers list Starter at $39 per seat per month, or $29 billed annually, capped at 5 users. Confirm the current figure and credit limits during the 14-day trial, which needs no card.
